BMD Formwork Pty Ltd (ABN 60 614 247 399) was formed in 2012 by Mick Black and Des Fitzgerald. Together we have a wealth of experience in building in Ireland, England, Scotland and Australia.
With backgrounds in engineering, architectural technology and carpentary you can be sure that we can provide solutions for any situation. BMD Formwork deliver complex projects with a high level of finish, on-time and under budget.
BMD Formwork are proud distributors and specialists for German engineered NOE Wall Formwork Systems.
We have successfully worked on projects for many of Australia's leading contractors - including; Grocon, AbiGroup, ProBuild, Equiset, Multiplex Brookfield, Hansen Yuncken, and Westfield.

Mick Black
Qualified CarpenterDirector
Mick is a qualified carpenter with 25 years experience in the Building and Construction Industry and is a ‘hands on’ Director. Mick is predominantly on-site ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of projects.
Des Fitzgerald
Bsc (Hons) EngineeringDirector
Des graduated with a degree in Engineering in the early 1990s. He has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, working in Ireland and England before settling in Melbourne in 1998.
